point is, even if the teachers did have guns (and no training) the shooter would've had enough time to kill alot of people with an automatic weapon.

Bisjac, you are saying we need more guns? Do you realize how lenient gun laws are already? You can carry a handgun in CT...What do you want, a law that makes it mandatory to carry guns? Blame the school for not permitting staff to carry guns , not gun laws for being "too strict".

the thing dosnt even hold many more bullets then a handgun. its an even match

im saying its all easily avoided. the guns laws are just what i need for MY day to day life.
schools have thier own laws about guns. that should be changed for staff members.

but the theater and mall shootings were embarrassing. public places have the right to ban firearms, and they did. and many more people died then needed to.

it's a rifle, it's more accurate and has better entry than a pistol. higher velocity too.

also, if the bank tellers had guns, do you think they would've stopped the two shooters in the bank? if the 30+ people in the bank had guns, would the shooters have been stopped? the loving POLICE couldn't kill them as the two walked out of the bank. you're handicapped.
