Author Topic: Elementary school shooting. ~28 dead, 20 children, 6-7 teachers, 1 shooter  (Read 19758 times)

What has the world become? loving psychopaths over here, some over there. I mean come on, who shoots the forget out of little kids? I hope his corpse rots and burns in hell for all I care. The police did the right thing to put down that starfish.

staff members dont stand in front of children. they stay at the inside of classroom doors as is the rule in these situations. and kids were crammed into closets.

stupid tomcat lol

bisjac these are loving kindergarten/elementary school teachers. how do you expect them to fight off a gunman? I can't visualize a first grade teacher wielding a pistol against a killer, much less shooting him.
I agree with you on a lot of things, but that's just loving stupid. remove the gun in the first place, and it wouldn't have happened. it's sad that you can get a driver's license easier than a gun license.

that's true, tomcat. they wouldn't really be thrown about everywhere

level 3 armour lol. you cant even  buy that. government bans it. not limits, ban.

you are limited to lvl1 only in the US. and it was the type the mall and theater shooters had. pointless to even put on.
unless this guy lives in canada or europe (not sure of the laws there) then how'd he get it?

these guys made body armor themselves, pistols couldn't do stuff. they had to buy ar-15s from local gun dealers.

I was talking about this on the way home with my brother, his friend, and my mom.

Gotta suck.

well in a fantasy situation sure why not.

but it dosnt apply to this, or the other shootings even closely. huge shooting events that are easily avoided.

while you are at it. tell us the guy could have just used a tank and grenade launchers. or an atom bomb. if you are gonna make up non situations that dont apply to these 3-4 shooting events anyways.

Another thread in which Bisjac makes himself look stupid...

well gun wielding criminals are stopped every day by gun wielding citizens.
why should this be any different?

Im siding with bisjac. If at least two people were carrying a gun, many lives could have been saved.

it does, it's following what you said, except with a change of motives. all of the cops had guns, and on top of that, training. they had a swat team come in. however, it took almost an HOUR to stop the shooting.

...in a loving school?

Who is going to carry a gun?

it's not fair to say "alright, you have to carry a gun just in case"
the threat should just be removed in the first place

it took almost an HOUR to stop the shooting.

and the police failed to save almost 30 lives lol
i dont call that successful at all. that is a miserable failure actually.

a few staff members with handguns could have ended this very quickly.

in fact the police played no part in ending it. the guy shot himself on his own time. he likely just ran out of ammo on the kids and figured he was wrapped up for the day.

police fail

Should we really be discussing gun control laws here?  This is a forum for a lego game.  We should be discussing this on a much higher level, or at least just start another topic for the discussion of gun control.

No, this is the core issue and pretty much the only thing besides "poor kids" related to the topic.
