I WASN'T smart enough, however, to check where the industrial staples were in the box.
5 punctures, half an inch deep each. I clearly wasn't a happy 7 year old that day.

I thought I was a genius inventor and that by putting a sheet of plastic between two layers of cardboard it would be strong enough to use as wings and fly.
Luckily I never got around to making it as I had planned to test it by jumping off the roof of a two story building.

not an apt comparison

it's a normal part of childhood development to associate emotions with inanimate objects (a misconception). it's a childhood misconception because you grow out of it (except for handicaps obviously)
