I grunt when I hit the ground. I hop to my feet quickly and observe my surroundings, making quite a bit of noise.

Someone found the temple.  Or even worse, they followed me, maybe bandits.
Naz unholstered his TT-33 pistol, hiding behind the fountain as he observed the lone man in the corridor.
That guy is really, really loud...

"Hello?" My Slavic accent echos through the corridor.

The man spoke, made himself completely obvious, which made me ditch the thought that he could be a bandit, but I still had my doubts.  I stood up slightly from behind cover, and looked directly at him.

I jump slightly, startled, and look back.

I stood up straight, still looking at the man.  I grasp at the cloth hanging loosely from my face cover and tossing it lazily over my shoulder.  I continue to simply look at him, waiting for him to do something.

After the VTOL lands, I go to a contacts house. He has someone I need to kill.

I begin walking slowly toward him

"forget..." Zebellan mumbled to himself, it was already a good way through the trip and still no offers. Granted he was not the most charismatic person, and didnt attract much attention, but wasn't that what these gold hunters wanted? He looked up as a white man in a suit approached him.

"Excuse me, but I'm putting together a group of highly trained indivuduals, such as yourself I assume,  to rid an old mining camp of a, er...infestation. I already have five of the six men I need, and you look like a fit and competent man. Interested?"

Zebellan shifted in his seat, "How much is the pay? It must have good pay," he asked.

The suit smirked, "I do not pay  by the hour. You will get payed on how succesful you are. The more of the creatures you kill, the more you get paid."

"How much exactly?"

The suit brushed a peice of lint from his shoulder, "$35 for every kill. An additional $100 at the end of the mission."

Zebellan considered the offer. It was quite a good deal, better then he had ever gotten. "I agree. What are these "creatures" you speak of?"

"You will find out when we get there." The suit removes a PDA from his pocket and types something in. "Meet me at the vehicle bay an hour after we arrive. Oh, and as a curtousey..." The man removes a wallet from his back front pocket and pulls out two $20 bills. He hands it to Zebellan smiling, "Here is something to start you off. See you in an hour."

The VTOL had docked and the doors opened, the suit dissapeared in the crowd, and Zebellan shuffled out to find with the rest of the group.

I search the area we landed in for somebody that sold VTOLs. I had found one almost at the edge of their civilization, a vehicle bay. "Can I get a VTOL now and pay you in gold when I return?" I ask, getting right to the point. "We'll give you a junker and ask for it back, that and you'll have to pay more than what you would pay for renting it." the man said. "Fine, I just need to get going." I said, glad they actually agreed. They showed me to the VTOL (They were right, it WAS a junker) and I prepared to take off. "Remember the deal, because we'll know if you try to cheat us out of a VTOL, even if it is a flying garbage dump!" the man shouts before I take to the skies. I scanned the area, looking for a hostile civilization that looks like it has important crap hidden in it.

I cautiously wrapped my other hand around the grip of my TT-33 as the man began walking toward me.

I extend my hand for a shake

I looked at the man as he extended his hand toward me from the end of the corridor.

I begin walking slowly toward him

"Can't say I didn't try.." I begin walking back to the entrance.

I didn't think you'd have reached the end of the corridor yet.
The rumble of an engine can be heard above the temple, and yelling echoes silently through the corridors.  "No!  Wait!" Naz shouts, to the Ukrainian man.
