Do you think that shoot out could be inspired by the "End of the world"?

So, I was thinking, since idiots really do exist on this place we call home. Do you think possibly that handicap that shot up that school and killed 26 people, was inspired to do it by the scheduled end of the world poof day? (Not saying it will happen. only handicaps believe that). Cause around where I am, about 10 people are going crazy and trying to  purchase lots and lots of games and trying to take money from their parents. (Yeah, they're handicapped teens.).
