I believe I may still have an old caravan that I built years back, would sure like to drive it around.

That's the cool part of it.
1) You start out with any vehicle from the vehicle brick.
2) You get in that vehicle and type /createbuildablevehicle
3) Body is cleared, and you can now build on that chasis.

Your vehicle handling depends on whatever vehicle you select.

Not at all. As we speak, I'm tweaking the script a bit to make the bricks instantly follow. I have it almost done.
