I meant that in the sense of wanting quality and taking seven years to make one game.

Gabe Newell isn't good at anything, however.

He's good at owning knives :cookieMonster:

I fail to see anything about trains.

Elev_MoveNorth
Elev_MoveEast

Elev_MoveNorth
Elev_MoveEast
What does that have to do with a train?

If an elevator moved from left to right it'd be a "horivator".

Or a Wonkavator. If you don't know what this is you need to read Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.

Can it go southway?

a couple versions ago this was impossible
nope.

Now it's a walk in the park

Not without stealing scripts. It uses an extremely loving simple method of unhiding nodes, as if nowone had done THAT before. It works but without engine changes it'll never be really possible.

Nice work, looks great!
It looks O.K

It looks O.K
This is the best thing you're probably going to get. IMO it looks great. Just because it isn't actually moving bricks doesn't mean it's only "ok."

That's not why it looks "ok".

The bricks look like pure untextured cubes; they have no texture like normal bricks do, so they don't look as good.

well if they had textures like normal bricks do they would look like actual moving bricks
So it kind of is why. I admit that would be cool, but for now what we have is good.

As a quick note for anyone using these. If you're using the VCE variables, apparently elev_isMoving does not exist. It's coded in the add-on as elev_inMotion
