I have a Wii U and I love it.
Get the Deluxe set if you can because 8gb ain't enough.
Perhaps buy a external hard drive for the Wii U too.
Some good games are Nintendo Land, ZombiU (from what I saw), Scribblenauts Unlimited, and uh that mario one i forget.

Seems to be about the size of an iPad.

Somehow the gamepad happens to be lighter than an iPad, which i find amazing taken that the WiiU gamepad is three times deeper than the iPad.

the casing of an iPad is all glass and metal, whereas the WiiU has a plastic case.
