Yes, it's pretty good.

I've had lots of fun with it personally. I got the Deluxe package, and Nintendo Land is good fun (especially if you have other people to play with).

Miiverse is a pretty neat feature. I love that you can use the GamePad as a television remote. It's backwards compatible with the Wii, and you can even transfer all your data from your Wii over to the WiiU (of course it deletes all your data on the Wii).

The GamePad controls well, it has some neat games planned or already released (pikmin 3!!!!!!! :D), I'd recommend it.
