Author Topic: Due to the shootings, the episodes of Family Guy and American Dad = cancelled  (Read 3061 times)

All of the people who dislike the shows, in this topic, appear to follow the "I'm unique so I'm cool, guys" standard you'd expect from your average, angsty teen.

Give us some good criticisms, not your "rebellious" perspective of the shows because they're popular.

Oh, and if you're over 13 and you still act like this, you're developmentally challenged.  There's no doubt in my mind.

I'm just not a fan of the way they're written because all they do is make fun of people. I also don't like the art style.

Social commentaries != making fun of everyone.  If you fall into that stereotype, you should probably rethink your own actions.  *cough*rightwingnutjobs*cough*

I'm liberal.

And no, I don't think social commentaries is equal to making fun of everyone. But all it does is make fun of people, seriously.

No, it doesn't.  That's a piss poor argument based on common hearsay, "seriously".

I used to watch it all the time in Chicago. I don't now, and everything I saw there was a handicapped parody of everything else.

If I want a handicapped parody of things, I'll watch Tim & Eric Awesome Show: Great Job!.

Which, again, it isn't.  You're grabbing at accouple of examples and using it to define the entire series.

Tim & Eric almost never falls under that catagory, I don't know what you're on about.  At this point, I can only assumed you're uninformed.

Tim & Eric was actually made to be handicapped. I'm serious, look it up.

The intent is for it to be stupid, yes, but it isn't a parody of anything.

Tim & Eric was actually made to be handicapped. I'm serious, look it up.

I guess it fulfilled it's purpose.

If it's meant to be handicapped, then it is handicapped. Case closed, anyone that doesn't like handicapped shows won't watch it.

Next they're gonna cancel sesame street because it has kids in it and its offensive to think about children after what happened.

Stop ruining things for everyone else just because a kindergarten was shot up.

i liked the episodes where they went back to the pilot episode and the one where time went backwards and they had to relive the ipecac scene

Yeah, today we had a moment of silence in the morning after announcements to commemorate them.
