Code Lyoko thread: Season 5 English dubbed trailer

*WARNING CLICKABLE PORTRAITS COULD CONTAIN SPOILERS*Code Lyoko is a 2d/3d animated TV show developed by anteFilms and Moonscoop. The show was originally aired in france and was then brought to America where it has quite a fanbase. The show follows the lives of the students of Kadic academy, Jeremie Belpois, Aelita, Odd Della Robbia, Ulrich Stern and Yumi Ishiyama as they fight together to defeat an evil computer virus known as X.A.N.A in the world of Lyoko. This produces a unique feature we don't see very often in TV, when the kids are in the real world it is 2d animated but when they're in Lyoko it is in 3d animation. The show contains 4 seasons released and a fifth season "Evolution" being developed with a planned release early 2013. There is controversy over this "Evolution" about how the real world segments will be captured in real time and not in 2d animation as it were in the previous four seasons.

SEASON 1
Season 1 is about Jeremie trying to find the right program so he can materialize the A.I Aelita into the real world.

Season 2 is about Jeremie trying to find the cure for Aelita's bug and discovering about her mysterious past. But I'd rather not talk about it.

Unfortunately, in Season 5 (Code Lyoko: Evolution) the real world segments will contain live action actors.

two things i hate about the live action

1. the acting is horrible
2. odd is loving 4 years old

they nailed ulrich and yumi though

I loved this show, but something tells me the child actors are going to ruin it. Wasn't this show like, really french and everyone had really weird anatomies?

As an added point, I agree with Niven in that Odd looks 4 years old, and he's not even blonde. Also, Jeremie looks really dumb. While he was supposed to be a nerd, he didn't wear flannel and belts, he wore long-sleeves and turtlenecks. forgetIN' LIVE ACTION EEEERGHS

As another added point, the dubs over the french actors look loving terrible. I'm going to have to watch this solely for the virtualisation now.
