Decided to jump on. Guild was in default, leaders havent been on in over a year. Was bored, so i brought it out of default. Still have my 2 level 4 swords
(Blazebrand and Grand Flourish) and 2 level 3 guns (Shadowtech II and Super Blaster). Have Ash Tail Armor and A rock jelly shield, so almost a whole set. Was never a bomber so nothing much there. A New rarity tab (I think) and 39 Sparks of life. Dont know if thats 39 free revives or not. If so, pretty loving cool. Trinkets I can no longer use, which isnt an issue, except for my Penta-heart trinket.

I use the Hallow set as a costume.

Thats about it. I was working on a level 4 gun when i last was on, so i guess I continue from there.

EDIT: Looks like I have to go back and do some missions to unlock battle sprites. Ok, piece of cake.

EDIT2: Ok, so is there no more energy or am I just seeing things?

There's no more energy, play through the Clockworks until you've hit a gate you can't pass due to not being a high enough rank

Energy (previously Crystal Energy) is now only used to buy various items and unlock gates that require energy

I see now that crafting higher tier equips still needs "energy", though not as direct as before. Now you need alchemy orbs? Also, do weaposn still level up or do I have to use fire crystals?

Other than that, It seems i got back into it, though i need to focus more on guns because im getting wrecked like before by gun puppies.

You need a certain kind of fire crystal to level the item up once it's heat gauge is filled, what kind of fire crystal you need will depend on the level of the item and you need a certain amount to do it, if you have the minimum, upgrading might fail and the crystals will be consumed anyway

Alchemy orbs you can also find as rare drops from boxes

Eternals are actually kinda common if you farm them on the right missions/arcade (I've gotten all my 5* gear without spending a single cent on orbs.)

and yeah you need fire crystals to upgrade your items levels now, depending on what star it is it requires higher tier Crystals
Personally I just go with the max fire crystals for everything cause with 3* item and above forges, you can have a chance at getting a object called a forge prize box which gives you tons of cool stuff such as Fire crystals, Alchemy Orb's, Sparks of life and a Variant ticket.

You can also buy the orbs and fire crystals from the supply depot if you do energy trades often (you don't need to spend a cent on this game)

you either get the 3* or 5* ones instead most of the time and its like "I DONT NEED THESE RIGHT NOW"

Well, thanks guys. I did forget how hard the higher tier levels are with swords, and all i have atm is Super Blaster, which is OK, but i dont know whats good when it comes to guns.

With bombs, I kinda just want to beat the 3rd DLC area and get the level 5 bomb from that instead, but im going to need some help.

the 5* ones are actually easier to find than the 4* ones
you can find them in 2 stratums instead of the other 4 orbs 1 stratum

basically:
flawed orbs - stratum 1
simple orbs - stratum 2
advanced orbs - stratum 3
elite orbs - stratum 4
eternal orbs - stratum 5 & 6
