Author Topic: 'Downloading' new skills into our brains like characters set to become a reality  (Read 1749 times)

Skills as in humanly attainable skills that have already been mastered.

I'd rather learn, thank you.

This would ruin the art.

I would so download
everycodinglanguage.dll
to ma brain

This may actually be possible (In 80 years, and in order to get it, you have to be a multi-trillionare and live in Japan)

> download skill of a master gymnast

> you weigh 200 pounds

OT: This better become a reality. I won't have to waste school hours doing meaningless work.

That's scary as forget. I was walking home from the bus stop today thinking about the day mankind will stop learning externally and begin downloading stuff internally.

The forget brain?

That's strange, about a week ago I was wondering the same thing.

DOWNLOAD HIS BRAIN?!!?

oh god what if someone is stupid enough to fall for a trick on this

brainwashing

One the one hand, I feel as though this could usher in a new era of human advancement. On the other, I feel as though this would be a privilege that comes at a cripplingly high price. It could either bring utter ruin or utter success to humanity. This technology could be extremely temperamental, as no two brains are exactly alike. I've mixed feelings.

I suppose it doesn't even matter in the slightest because it'll never happen ever. Like all new technologies except Blu-Ray.
