guys, most murders are committed with baseball bats. we should ban baseball bats too!!!!
Clever, but guns were designed to kill things, baseball bats weren't and aren't as deadly when misused.
Try harder.

LOL
IT DOES

Except in Switzerland, where it is mandatory for everyone to own a firearm.
It has a world record low in gun crime rates.

But every country has gun crimes. Most of those shooters obtain the guns illegally.
Put the foot down on illegal distribution of firearms.
Done.

We're talking about travel and set-up time.
Most police departments, when trying to stop, for example, a robbery, usually don't immediately deploy SWAT teams unless shots have been fired or so much time has gone by that the police officers have failed in convincing the robber to surrender.
That just means they aren't necessary until then.

#1: Baseball bats are not the most used weapon in murders
#2: There will always be the "most used weapon in murders", it's like there will always be the oldest person on Earth

Read the number of deaths from guns, then read the number of deaths from sharp objects.

do you really think that criminals are going to follow gun laws? no. we need to defend ourselves from the criminals. pistol versus assault rifle. do the math. it isnt rocket science.
Who ever shoots fist and gets hit first, most armoured, covered , ect. Many factors have to be taken into consideration.

If you own a 3D printer you can print the parts for a firearm.

you should really read everything in it :/

However, this does not necessarily mean possessing guns are actually bad; as stated in the opening paragraph, many lives are actually saved by those have them and use them for protection. It is historically proven that the more right to arms are taken away from the regular citizenry the more crime brews thereafter and more innocent lives are lost. Not only that, total freedom means freedom to protect one’s self without total reliance on government; the founding fathers understood this. Moreover, the states with the most strict gun control laws like Illinois and New York have the worst gun crimes simply because criminals can easily do what they want, whereas states like Texas with the least gun control have some of the lowest gun crimes since individuals can protect themselves against criminals.

It was an brown townogy too. (my post)

They don't last very long.

Didn't think of that. You're right.

LOOOOL
I love how you think that will work.
Don't you think we've done that in the past already with drugs?
What are some people still doing? Drugs. Very, very illegally.
Your logic is flawed.

That just means they aren't necessary until then.
And meanwhile, in the bank, while the Police is still on it's way, every unarmed patron is dead and the armed robber walks away a free man.
lol k.

The quote is saying that banning assault weapons probably won't do stuff about school shootings except they used a different gun.

Remember that time we banned alcohol? Yeah that worked out well didn't it.

I thought of a good brown townogy.

Why burn down an entire apple tree when you get one bad apple from it?

you should really read everything in it :/
I don't need to. The only facts I need are that guns kill over 10,000 a year in the U.S. and the 2nd most used weapon in murders, sharp objects, only kill about 1900 people.

Tell me, in a situation where a criminal is shooting innocent civillians with a firearm obtained illegally, even if the territory he's in is strict on gun control, why should the innocent civillians not be allowed to protect themselves and other people with legal firearms?

It's not like the innocent civillians are going to go on a shooting spree because they own a legal firearm, that's for sure. I can't think of a reason beyond any propoganda bullstuff that's been fed to the anti-gun supporters.

No matter how much you put your foot down on firearm restriction, you can't stop criminals from breaking the law. If they have contempt to kill an innocent civillian, they'll have no moral issues with acquiring an illegal firearm.

Guess I'll bold it for you.
