mayans were the oldest (known) ancient civilization to know the locations and distances of all the planets. even before modern man had.
and they didnt even have telescopes.
they knew the location of our sun within the galaxy, they knew the time it took for earth to circle the milky way before we even knew there was a galaxy.
we had still thought the world was flat lol

I honestly want to know who says Mayans are stupid. I studied Mayans extensively during high school and I find it appalling that anyone could find this great race stupid.
