Anyways, Bukkit and TFC ( as I said before, 99% sure) don't work together, so you may have to rework your server plan.

Why not general resources? The people trading can choose whether it's good or not, that's what empires/seperately run towns did in the old times - the times in which terrafirmacraft's technology takes place.

TFC isn't compatible with 1.4.6 yet. But when it is, why wouldn't we upgrade?

Also, I'd really like to help make this server happen. When do you think you can get it up, and is there anyway I can help doing that?

Can someone make an installation tutorial "for dummies"? :(

Download 7zip.
Open windows menu (bottom left) and in the search bar type in %appdata% and then click Roaming. Then click .minecraft, then bin
Go into the bin, open minecraft.jar with 7zip and drag all the files from the recomended forge (which should open in 7zip) off TFC page
then delete the meta-INF file from within the minecraft.jar
then go back into .minecraft and create a folder called "mods"
drag the TFC file into this folder

this is basically how you install any mod, except replace the TFC in above line with your mod (note: some mods will use different forge versions)

devs stated they don't give a stuff. besides, it's a .jar of the mod, not of the game minecraft. once you modify the .jar it replaces the minecraft files and replaces them with the forge files.
