Does anyone play Terraria anymore?

I've really been wanting to play with some people lately but it seems like nobody gets on.
Most online servers are just dumb pvp servers now, I just want to start a new world with some people and explore.

They kind of stopped updating it.

terraria was announced to never be updated again.
the developers ditched it.

i still have all my stuff for hosting a server on my desktop.

i don't play anymore but if people are willing to start a server i could play. even then it'll be really boring

i really wish they'd update terraria again, we'd already have so much new things they promised like new biomes and vehicles and such if they didn't abandon it.

Not even in that scenario. The only time i'd join a starting server is under request to either help them build a house or dig a really big hole.

I'm talking about war servers. For some reason i'm not allowed in them.

I assume i'm just too good.
