Roman buildings are still impressive, how long ago were they built?

I would more consider this style as Victorian than Roman. The exterior took a while for Geek himself, then Ephialtes helped him with some interior job, and later on a selected few were allowed to furnish rooms. I still have some fond memories of this charming build.

I believe he was commenting on Roman architecture in general, and how it is still amazing nowadays even being many years on.
