Sure you can use it to hunt with it! Anything small can be hunted with a blowgun. If you're a good shot, you might also be able to take down stationary birds.

its range is probs incredibly short, not to mention you probably cant kill anything larger then a sick chipmunk with it.

Edit 2: When taking a picture move back a little bit there is no end to the amount of people who take blurry as forget pictures because they put their camera too close to the object they are taking a picture of. (Your camera doesn't support such close photographs.)
