Dude... You have a loving awesome gaming station.

Not rich; carefully bought.

The most affordable 1080p monitor sits at $100 right now plus shipping. Meaning you could get 3 monitors for just $300 compared to an expensive 1920x1200 setup that sets you back almost just as much.

Me personally.. I prefer the pixels. So I chose a x1200 setup, regardless of the price.

You ever look into one of those triple monitor stands? I've been thinking about doing a triple monitor setup but I would want one of those stands. The only thing is a stand costs about as much as 3 monitors, at least a good one.

There's something about a x1200 that seems off to me.

Why would you turn on the screen?
They have standby modes so why would you ever turn them off?

Because they use power?

Because they use power?

I have all 3 monitors connected to a power switch that I press on the bottom of my desk to kill power on all 3.

I also have a switch that my PC is connected to so that it's not using power either, even when shut down.

My headset doesn't need to be turned on... it's just a headset.

I have to turn mine off because they have blinking lights on standby mode.
