At this point all I'm going to really be concerned about is finding a method of sidechaining that works for me, then figuring out love pRiddler more because it's awesome. I have used soundgoodizer on occasion but most often I don't enjoy the effect. Putting the whole thing through it for me would be blasphemy, since I hate to put much of anything on the master, including any kind of reverb or sometimes even limiter.

Limiters are good for sidechaining, however. You could use the peak controllers but the limiter is much easier and sounds better imo.

My plan was to redirect two channels to a send with a limiter which would then move on to the master. Peak controllers though? Is that like EQUO or what?

You're gonna have to ask King about what you just said lol. What he taught me/what I do is I click on my kick or what I  want the synth thing to follow, go over to the synth and right click the little ^ and say sidechain to this track. Then I add the limiter (not to the kick), switch to comp (this is while in the limiter), move the sidechain up one, and fiddle with the thres/ratio knobs.
