Thanks for not asking to keep in mind that it was a first attempt
Every time you make a topic you obviously plant some kind of excuse right in our faces and it's really annoying because you feel like if you have a lot of serious feedback then you'll just blow it off by saying "it was a demo" or "I'm new to this."
You did a decent job with it, I'm not quite up for telling you what I think would be good to change atm.
Thanks, but those are/were legitimate reasons. If someone is new at something, and asks for feedback/criticism, people will give it to him. However, if the end result isn't satisfactory to the viewers, they simply won't like it. However, I've found that BL forumers will often blow up in your face unless you emphasize on something that will (hopefully) make them not; in this case, letting everyone know I'm still learning, or that it may be my first attempt at something. I wouldn't have to do this if the majority of the forum weren't so dim witted, but I usually don't get good, useful feedback otherwise, except for some people, like Kindaro. If you look at some of my responses, you'll see that I take some people's suggestions to heart, and sometimes agree with them on a non-satisfactory part of the song. But for the parts where I'm "defending" myself, well, those are not me simply blowing it off. I respond with what I beleive to be true. If I'm making video game music for a friend, and he says he likes it, I'm not gonna change it just because some random forumers say they don't. Sorry if this bothers you; in truth, it bothers me a bit too. But until I see some maturity in other users (which will never happen completely), I will do what I have to do to get my point across to people who can't properly read a paragraph. If I wanted to "feel good" about my music, why on earth would I come to the Blockland forums, one of the most critical and hurtful places I've seen on the Internet.
On another note: glad you like it. I'm thinking of trying a bit more liquid dnb, see if it suits me.
*looks up at wall of text just typed* Holy freakin' cow! And this is all on my iPod?! I need to learn how to type a moderately sized paragraph every once in a while...
