Author Topic: weirdest glitches you've had  (Read 3268 times)

This happened last night. I was on  a race server. Early on you go over a bridge with small bumps on it. A player called The Red Spartan (There were two so I'm not sure if it was THE the Red Spartan.) rammed into blockdudes when he was going over the bump.
Suddenly, Red Spartan slows down and gets sucked inside the bridge leaving only the front lights sticking out. This causes blockdudes to lose control and steer off the bridge. I was recording it at the time so if you wanna see it, here it is.

That server is glitch heaven. I was on second place, some guy smashed into the rock at the finish and his car got stuck. I thought I could beat him to the button, but I rammed his car and got blown 30 miles away.

When you freeze, and all your camera and mouse movements and chat stay on the screen and overlap with each other making a huge mess

If you drive a stunt plane straight down into the ground it does this weird bounce...

When vehicles have no wheels, I guess.

Doesn't seem to do anything

When I was working on some jvs door and the model was 10x bigger than my house for no reason and I had to redo everthing

I know the feel bro.

Isn't that when you're deleted?

I don't know how many years ago it was, but for some reason my server used to make duplicates of everyone who left the game.  So I'd go afk for half an hour and there'd be a bunch of bots sitting around near the spawn area.  So like... 3 Narco's and a bl4lyfe sitting near the spawn.  It was kinda cool though, ended up just making "bot bins" and throwing all of the extra copies in there.

I think one time I left my server up for 2 days unattended.  I came back and there were 126 bots just sitting on the spawn.

/clearbots became a very useful tool for me.

When your player is deleted, that happens.
When your client is deleted, then you're disconnected.

TGE can not handle 20 physics vehicles that are driving at once. The extrapolation algorithms on the clients and the collision algorithms on the server go haywire, which is why you spontaneously get rammed into by a car behind you, and other collision glitches.

Accidently KICKED myself on a NON-DEDI server, the lighting died and was completely black, nobody had any bricks or anything, the avatars were every single combination but black. NO TOOLS OR ANYTHING NOT EVEN BRICKS COULD BE SELECTED OR PLACED.
