my teacher said he picked up his pc and the hard drive fell out and broke

why i never use the locking mechanisms.

i use a 32" tv and a 900p monitor for a dual monitor setup.
You're not going to notice a difference between 720p and 1080p if neither of your displays are 1080p.

i do have a 1080p tv, but i don't use it because i can't max out fc4 on it.

A lot of televisions falsely advertise their resolution.

Just because a TV says it is 1080p doesn't mean its resolution is 1920x1080. Confusing, I know.
TV's support the 1080p video format but downscale the image to fit their actual resolution which is most likely 1366x768 or somewhere around there.

Although from what I see that's getting fairly uncommon. Most TVs from recent years are true 1080p

So today I finally got the isopropyl alcohol and I soaked it for 5 minutes before going at it with dental floss and a twisting motion. No luck, so I soaked it again for 7 minutes and the exact same thing happened except I tried using a razor blade to see if I could get a start on a corner and finish with the dental floss. That didn't work so I soaked it for 10 minutes.
Hold up, what did you soak in the alcohol?

I think he soaked the processor and then got mad when he did something to mess it up.

wait so what won between those SLI'd 970's and single 980?

The 970's right?

that's because you're probably on console, which is 720 30 native

Anything that takes advantage of SLI will most likely make the 970s better, but anything that doesn't would make the 980 better
Though anything that doesn't use sli is probably old enough where a 970 would make everything out anyway.

Or it's a new AAA title from Ubisoft that apparently doesn't know how to deal with SLI. :)

Double toast.

It's possible to run a dual monitor set up off of an hdmi and a displayport cable coming from the gpu, right? Nevermind, doesn't even matter, just need to get an HDMI to DVI adapter.
