This a decent $600 budget rig?
$5 over $600 but I think this is a slightly better build, IMO.

I'm not a fan of AMD CPUs, but others may disagree. It's really up to personal preference. That's a decent build you got there though, if you do go with AMD and not Intel. Also, seems Newegg is out of stock on that RAM.

This a good substitute?

I see nothing wrong with it. I have the HyperX Blue 1600 MHz RAM and it works just fine.

The one thing I will say is it's better to get two 4 GB sticks rather than 1 8 GB stick, but that will be a bit more expensive, typically.

So something like this? Isn't that expensive, only like $3 more than the other one

no, but really
what would be the reasoning behind getting a new storage unit after replacing commander objects

Alright technologic people, I seem to need a new cooler for my PC. My current one doesn't keep it very cool anymore and my room likes to get extremely humid. While playing Space Engineers my PC almost hit 160F. Any suggestions?
Oh, I should probably post what I have. I also don't want to spend more than $30 on a heatsink, if its possible I'd like to avoid large bulky ones.
CPU: AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor
MB: MSI 970A-G46 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Case (if it matters): NZXT Source 210 Elite (White) ATX Mid Tower Case

Thats just about double what I'm willing to spend.

I'm looking to upgrade my PC with a new GPU but I only have $160 ish dollars to spend, I decided on the GTX 750 Ti 2 GB DDR. this is basically my PC but instead of a GT 720 GPU it's a GTX 650 2 GB DDR. would I need a new power supply or need to upgrade my processor to prevent bottle necking?

no. the 750ti dosnt even HAVE a power plug if i remember. unless you get the full size one, but at that point you should be using a 760 lol. 750ti shorties run off the 75w of the pci lane.
and it dont need much power since it runs off the same maxwell tech as the 900 series (the 750 was a test of maxwell released early)

its also sweet, because it will work well with dx12 when it comes up. while other 700 series wont.

i got a chick friend who grabbed the 750ti SC. and it can do most games max settings. its nice.

who in god's name told you that

Just realized I only have 236 gb left on my 1TB drive

I barely download stuff and don't record that often, what would be taking up the space so much/ is there a way I can check
