1. DDR3 was the only RAM supported for my Mobo, I wanted a DDR4 board, but they are expensive.
2. Its not overkill. I calculated the parts on the NewEgg PSU Calculator.
3. Hey buddy, AMD is cheap. I can't afford like a Xeon or i7.
4. Seprate ones look cool. They have LCDs, extra ports
5. ahem, its 2TB and SSD. I might upgrade the SSD, but thats for a later date.

A 8350 and 770 is not going to near 600 watts iirc
If i7 or xeon is too expensive than get an i5 or even an i3.
Honestly even i3's peform better than that amd 8 core.

i highly doubt it's from ram alone, it probably has something to do with the fact that you also have to upgrade your motherboard and cpu to upgrade from ddr3 to ddr4

an LGA 1150 pentium does the same as a 6350, even when overclocked at 4.5 ghz, and the pentium is only 3.2
