we used a 750W power supply but i think that might be too much

does anyone else feel like they completely forgeted up like every time they built a computer? during this build the ram got unseated and fell out onto the table, i touched the mobo and various components on the circuits multiple times

yet i havent broken any parts yet (besides a stuffty $20 fan controller)

how is this? the stuff in grey in the references sheet is just stuff i've had and can reference easier for comparing.

i'd be willing to go AMD if someone can find a quiet AMD processor, which I know the 2 don't go hand in hand. $225 is my limit.

an i3 feels like overkill for emulators relating to older game systems and watching 1080p youtube videos

Now I have to wait for basicly everything else to make a computer operate wich will be delivered at 19 january. Than I have to wait a couple of days for an outlet plug adapter thing wich does not convert voltage wich was a pain in the ass the find.
And ofcourse, black and white stuff :^)

My wall is white too so its kinda sober so I am going to get some ice-blue leds behind my desk to get some color.
Than I am going to get a better desk chair because mine is stuff and a mechanical keyboard.

It's a good thing to know how to do, good cable management really helps with airflow.

Alright I think my friend barely knows stuff about computers. We were talking about how my cpu temps are pretty warm since I have a stock cooler, then (s)he almost starts panicking and telling me to change my cooler. Obviously it would be a good thing to do, but the reasoning was just handicapped on their part.






I have honestly never heard of this problem/of cpu's fusing to their coolers. I mean I've never even had this problem with any cpu and cooler I've owned. Just rethermal paste with some good stuff, and you're fine.
Either they have used the most unknown brand of thermal paste, have never rethermal pasted their cpu's, or they have no idea what they are talking about.

Its probably the thermal paste that just sticks a little bit. If that can even happen.
But I doubt it can fuse on an actual CPU.
Either way just get a $30 sleeve cooler and it'll do.

Also I just noticed but whats the difference between a sleeve and a rifle cooler? They basicly look the same but what makes them different?

Sleeve bearings are less durable as the contact surfaces can become rough and/or the lubricant dry up, eventually leading to failure. Rifle bearing fans are similar to sleeve bearing, but are quieter and have almost as much lifespan as ball bearings. The bearing has a spiral groove in it that pumps fluid from a reservoir.
