I want a nice gaming computer that can run Portal 2 at max settings, but isn't overly priced or bigger than the hp pavillion p6510y
You don't need much power to run portal 2, my stuffty laptop can probably run it at max
Find a benchmark you want that isn't a source game

I have a 7850 and it never did that

also speaking of videocards what is the best thermal paste for them

thermal paste ... for video cards ...

what?

Any thermal paste will do, however I reccomend IC Diamond high density. Highest quality thermal paste, using synthetic diamond.

Under the heatsink of a video card, it's essentially very similar to a motherboard with a CPU. By default there is regular (usually high quality) thermal paste on the heatsink and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) chip. The Titan for example:

Some people find that opening up their Graphics Card and cleaning off/replacing the thermal paste with something like Arctic Silver 5 High Density, you'll get better temperatures. Theoretically you will.

Moneys not really a issue.
Your dad is too grateful with you.
Once he dies and you have to earn your stuff yourself you'll notice money IS an issue :o

...unless you get that million dollers he has laying around

That stuff costs 7 dollers per gram wtf

never heard of anyone ever needing to replace their GPU's thermal paste .. maybe if it runs too hot I guess

so you're getting an overkill card that you'll never use the potential of instead of overclocking a 670, and when you don't have enough power you can sli it (around the same power as a 690, by the way) for like $600 less?

good idea there

Overclocking on the 670 sucks. Just saying. 670 user here.

Can you spell dollars right?

What are the best monitors for a 3 monitor setup? for under 200 each?

I'm using 3x ASUS VE248H and they're pretty good.

I'm using a 21" asus monitor ($130 I think), really nice as well

ASUS is pretty dope, though I want to use a BenQ 120hz monitor since I've heard good things about them. They're a little too pricey though.

I have a acer 60hz monitor witch sucks :\

Looking for a good 27"+ monitor (preferably at 27") with HDMI. I saw this. Decent?
