PCI-E 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0, the only difference is that 3.0 has more memory bandwidth than 2.0 or something like that

600W is way more than enough, you could go lower (450W lowest actually)

why is that ram called 1x8 when on newegg its just one stick
edit: wait i'm stupid i thought 1x8 meant 8 sticks of 1gb ram

why do you need 2 sticks? I think 1 stick is easier, faster and you have more upgrade potential, instead of 16gb you can have up to 32 gb at once in the future
