For a first time build, definitely go with an air-cooled system.

Liquid cooling loops are more expensive than air, more complicated, and there's more room for disaster (if anything leaks, you'd better hope the fluid is non-conductive).

Not sure what you're saying here, but if you're saying he should get a liquid system I disagree. Unless he's going for ridiculous OC's (which I severely doubt, based on the fact that it's his first), air should do the trick perfectly.

i mean for a first time build, dont go out and buy alll the expensive parts to make your own loop, go on newegg and get something like the corsair h100.
