rate this build pls
Get a black caviar drive, not a blue one. Faster write speeds are much more worth it
And get a 760... I have no clue why you would get a 560 when the 760 is current gen, much better, AND cheaper

Ok so i was wondering if any of you have had any experience with the Nvidia GT440.  I know it has been replaced but I was wondering what the replacement was and whether or not it is worth it to buy its replacement new or buy the GT440 off of Ebay.  Not this is the GT series, not the GTX series.  I can only use the standard desktop GPUs.

I need my build to be as cheap as possible with the same performance as this.

Please help me make this as cost effective as possible. I'd even go for an APU build but I'm tired of not being able to play games.

you don't need a non-stock cpu cooler at all because you have the locked version of the processor

Oh wow, really? How do you tell if it's locked? I was hoping to overclock it. Still, wouldn't a cheap aftermarket cooler be a better option for sound? It won't even be 6 feet away from me because it will be on my desk.
I was looking at this one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/zalman-cpu-cooler-cnps5xperforma.

Unless you have super hearing you'll be fine with stock. If you have the money go for an aftermarket cooler, but if you're on a somewhat tight budget stay with stock.

Thanks. Removing the Sedion brought the total down to $550 @$487 after rebates and such. Do I still need thermal compound? I'll be going with the stock cooler because my case doesn't have a window and I'm on a superjew bring the price down budget.

Your stock cooler comes with thermal compound already, you're fine.

Loving my new GTX 670 FTW+ 4GB. So much better than my old Sapphire Radeon 7850 2GB. And the overclocking software such as Precision X and everything is just amazing.

... but your glass

Is it a good idea to replace the H100i's default fans with Be Quiet!'s Silent Wings 2 120mm PWM fans? I've done some research to compare the fans, and they seem a little too closely matched, even if Silent Wings pushes more air, it says "16.2 dBA" and does not provide a range like XX-YY, which makes me suspicious.

I want to go with them because I also want a black themed build, but if these fans do more harm than good, then I'd have to opt out.
