again, 3.5 means nothing. an i3 clocked at 3.0 GHz with 2 cores will outperform that AMD CPU in most games

a bit of an overstatement, but still, clock speeds barely mean stuff. anyways, an i3 performs around the same as an 6300, with 4 less cores and a slightly lower clock speed
