common sense does help though. only very good custom water coolers are able to get 70 Fahrenheit while overclocked to 4.1ghz

I recommend raising the voltage to maximum then removing the heatsink so you can get maximum airflow.

Your BIOS would likely revert it as it's unlikely to be stable far before that clock.

Nah, I got an H100i an running stable 4.6GHz on a 3770k at 33C when just doing normal things on my computer.
