Hey I need technical help.
I have a computer that won't start and I have isolated the problem down to either the processor or the motherboard, but I can't figure out which.
The problem I'm having is that 1) the computer instantly turns on when I flip the psu switch, but more importantly 2) the computer dies after three seconds being on, no beeps or anything.
If I take all the ram out, it beeps once, then gives a sort of half beep while dying.
If I disconnect the processor power pin, it still dies after three seconds.
If I remove the processor entirely, the computer does not die after three seconds.
This is consistent with three different PSU's that I have tried
Is it the motherboard or the processor that is broken, or is there a different problem?
I'm betting my money that it's the processor. If the motherboard was dead nothing would happen at all.
should I get a HDMI moniter or stick with the VGA? can someone give me the differences?
There's really not much difference in the pictures. So just stick with VGA.

Neither of them worked :o
Just to be safe uninstall them. Also what is your motherboard? If it's a laptop what laptop is it?
With 100 dollars, what sort of graphics card can i get for gaming,
that i can buy at best buy,
AND that can play DayZ in ~30-100 FPS? :o
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130827Get that instead of the HD 7750. It's better.
Your motherboard needs 2.0 PCI Express. The GPU says 3.0 PCI Express but it will also work on 2.0 Express. There's basically no performance boost with the 3.0.
Here's a comparison.
