Unless you count the fact that I didn't and I installed the standoffs for a regular ATX-sized board and I was having my brother help me with it so he just said "forget that, I'm not taking this back out, deal with it" and screwed it in, it's presently missing four standoff screws and I fear for my life every time I unplug a SATA cable.

I'll re-do it all once I buy my new parts in June though, so right now all I can do is make sure other people are aware of it
So generally I would be fine with the board, but the standoffs will be a slight bit screwy?

Edit: Complete build if you want to see

Do you really need those speakers? I'd recomend saving up a little money and buying a headphone instead.

How about these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826262102 ?? They seem to be getting good reviews.
Sennheiser is also a very good brand.

I have good headphones already, so I could drop the speakers.

adventures of me and my brothers laptop: had to reformat it and install windows.

used the usb stick to install it.

couldn't install both VIDEO AND WIRELESS NETWORK DRIVERS.

decided to hp factory reset and here i am waiting for it.

ts;dus: hp is a stuff laptop manufacturer with broken stuff and you should not buy from them if you even slightly wish to reinstall windows freshly or have a working laptop.

I don't get this whole thing of buying headphones over speakers.
After using a good set of Sennheiser headphones as well as a good set of Plantronics for several years I can honestly say that my £25 set of Logitech speakers with sub-woofer are infinitely superior

I think most of the use for headsets comes from the desire to be able to talk into the mike of a headset, and also the desire to keep other people from hearing what you're hearing

I use speakers whenever I can, but headsets are a must

I have a room that nobody comes into.
Even if people do come into my room, I don't do anything on my computer that I need to hide except for certain activities, during which I just turn off my speakers and deal with it anyway.

Unless your PC is in the living-room or you're constantly streaming research I don't see any reason whatsoever to get a headset for a desktop PC instead of speakers

GUYS i had too much at a chinese buffet and now I feel like i'm going to dieee.

but on the topic of computers here, I saw Staples had alot of Zotac cards on sale. Anyone fond of Zotac here? I notice they're sold pretty much everywhere.

there's plenty of fps tests on youtube. it will run it very well.

In general, what parts on a laptop can you use for a desktop? If I were to put my laptop's hard drive in a desktop, would I still have windows 7 and such?
