My specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Intel Core i5-2310 CPU @ 2.9Ghz (4 CPUs)
8GB RAM
AMD HD Radeon 6850
Alright, so I'm a bit unsure about my CPU and GPU temperatures. I'm assuming their good, but a little confirmation wouldn't hurt.
So I'm playing GTA IV - and as you know it's not that great of a port - with these settings:
Resolution: 1600x900 (60Hz)
Texture Quality: High
Reflection Quality: Very High
Water Quality: Very High
Shadow Quality: High
Night Shadows: Medium
Texture Filter Quality: Anistrophic x16
View Distance: 21
Detail Distance: 10
Vehicle Density: 100
Definition: Off
V-Sync: On
So with GPU-Z and RealTemp, I was monitoring and logging the temperatures of my GPU and CPU. I played for a bit over a half-hour. Around 1:37 is when I started to play, I took note of this and it's a bit obvious due to the sudden rise in temperature (see attached files). My GPU temperature seemed to stabilize at around 60°C with a fan speed of 60%. My CPU hung around 120 - 130°F. You can look at the attached files for more information. It seems
okay to me, I'm just not 100% sure if it is.
Crap, I just realized that I had RealTemp measuring in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. I just fixed that now, but I hope it doesn't cause too much confusion. The GPU was measured in Celsius though.
Also, I had to split the GPU Log into two parts, the file size was too large. It logged every second, instead of every minute like RealTemp lets me set. If anyone knows how to change the log time for GPU-Z that'd be nice.
Log Files Download (I had to use Mediafire since the forums kept saying a file was too large, even when I split one into two files and it was under 512kb)
