Opinons about this case?
Pretty cheap, too. ~$30.
It's going for the HAF look, but can't reach it too well.

I would spend the extra $20 - $30 and get the HAF 912, IMO

Why is the 912 considered so good?

Claw grip yo, it makes it easier to click the buttons and have a faster response time in Video Games. IMO.

The price for the case is outstanding.

The cable management is outstanding, as is the air flow of the entire case, and not to mention the room you have for everything.

Well I'm happy I bought one then :D.

The whole HAF series is really good at airflow. The 912 is nice to build inside of. I helped my friend build his sister a computer in one and it was super easy to work inside of, lots of space inside why still being pretty small.

Ok, I've got the Ubuntu installer and I'm confused as to what it does, does it install an ISO that I can burn to a disk or does it install ubuntu?

Any reason why I mount any of my FAT formatted volumes in Windows that it corrupts itself? I'm sick of seeing these kernel messages in Linux when I'm transferring files to and from a Windows OS

It just installs Ubuntu. Not sure how, as I have never used Wubi (nor would I recommend it, GRUB is a much better bootloader anyways.)
If you want the ISO, you have to download it from the Ubuntu website.

ER, does the installer let me run it along side windows, let me allocate as much space or try it?

It runs it alongside Windows as a boot option. It probably would either give you an option to let it allocate as much as it wants or to allocate as much as you want. It won't let you try it, as Wubi is an installer, not a Live environment. The ISO is what you need if you wish to try before you install.

how do I convince my mom for me to upgrade her 2004 desktop that hasn't been upgraded. it currently has 2GB RAM, a 256MB Radeon card from 2004, and using a reeeealllyyy low RPM hard drive. I wanted to put in a new HDD, a slightly better GPU, and more memory
