It's 720, and it games would look like stuff.

Not only that, there's a much greater latency on HDTVs (around 12-20 ms). That means gaming would just feel stuffty too.

So my new hard drive came in, I connected it up, made a new array with it and my old one, and it doesn't boot, it just says BOOTMGR missing.
I deleted the array and the old hard drive is working but the new one isn't listed in my computer

This could have been easily fixed by using your Windows Vista/7 installation disk. bootrec /fixboot, /fixmbr, or something along those lines should have done the trick.
About the drive not being listed, I'd have no clue. Do you hear it power up? Does it appear when the BIOS is probing for drives?
