Is this a good computer build/gaming setup?
you can save some money on the psu
i doubt you need more than 600w for that build, 650w is perfect to be on the safe side with room for overclocking
get something like this and put the extra money toward a better graphics card

If you get a bad drive, just RMA it. You'll have to pay for the return shipping to Newegg, but I think Seagate might pay the return shipping for you if you file the RMA with them instead of Newegg.

Although data lose could be a bitch. But I guess so. Anything else?

stop worrying and buy the damn thing. seriously it isn't rocket science lol. if it breaks you ship it back and they give you a new one.

Guys I upgraded my Comp again, this time I think its future proof for a while.

OLD SPECS:

CPU:Intel Pentium 4 Around 3.00 GHz
RAM:CORSAIR XMS2 4GB DDR2 DUAL CHANNEL
GPU:Radeon HD 6670
MOBO:ECS RS400-A

NEW SPECS:

APU:AMD A8-5600K Black Edition Quad Core @3.9GHz
APU INT GFX:RADEON HD 7560D
MOBO:Asus F2A85-M/ CSM AMD FM2
RAM:CORSAIR VENGEANCE 4GB DDR3 SINGLE CHANNEL
GPU:SAME

The ram is low, but I will probably just buy another one of those considering my motherboard has 4 slots for ram.
I think 8 GB will be good for a while.I didn't add links to the old specs, didn't think I needed to.

And thanks to the use of GPU Boost and AMD Crossfire, I can run everything smoothly and nearly at max graphics.
I wouldn't say all games, but Its good enough for me.

What site are you ordering from?

Amazon. Newegg doesn't seem to work for me.

I ended up ordering all my parts of Mwave, it's a fairly decent Australian site, try look for the pieces on there? Would be interesting to see the price difference between it and Amazon

Alright, I'll look there.

Just cleared 21 GB or so of old FRAPS footage until my new harddrive arrives.. I like having source material, but... I guess it was time.

I posted before about the new rig that i'm planning on getting, but that's assuming I get hired at one of the places I've applied for.

Just in case I don't, I need to get a GOOD rig for college. If I don't get the job then I only have about $800 to work with.
The only thing I know that is going into this would be the case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156280
This is the gpu that I was planning on putting in my new rig: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130787

I need a PSU, MOBO, and a CPU that will keep me on this budget. Can anybody help?

I'm looking for a new graphics card for under $50 that can run Blockland w/ shadows, Civ V, Halo 2, Battlefield 2, etc at low-medium settings.

Any suggestions? I'm looking at some like this:
