My processor is overclocked to 4.2ghz at around 68 degrees on 100% load. That's still on the safe side, right?

thats borderline for me, lol
i tend to be kind of nervous at anything above 70 degrees
but i doubt your cpu is always under 100% so the avg temps should be lower so yea you are safe

In my opinion that's very much on the safe side with that much muscle. What kind of cooling system do you have?

Okay guys
teach me the magic that is computers, what makes a motherboard good, videocards too

what makes a motherboard good
nice features (such as crossfire or sli, usb 3.0 and pci-e 3.0), overclocking capabilities, and long-lasting (some of them)

videocards too
when it plays any game above 30 FPS on the highest settings and lasts a long time

it all depends on the brand too

Is there any way I can get a new graphics card in this thing? I mean really. It has intel HD 3000.

You can't upgrade laptops, the only thing you can change in a laptop is the hard drive and RAM.

Motherboards have been made in the last few years without PCI-E 3.0 and USB 3.0? I doubt that.

I've heard that some laptops have an extra graphics card slot. Can't remember what it is called.

It is possible to upgrade .1% of laptops, but the chance of that is... you can tell from the percentage.

There isn't even a PC express slot on your laptop, so I have a feeling you can't upgrade.

ah. Well that sucks. Gotta save up enough money for either a desktop or laptop. Ill probably go with a desktop. I'll just have to find a place to put it.
