PHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

LOOK AT THE NEW DESIGN FOR THE loving MAC PRO

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

btw forget you apple

I dropped my ipad 2 and the screen is cracked up now. Is there a place were I can get the screen repaired for a cheap price (or were I can get the parts to do it myself?)

Yes. Sell the broken Ipad and get a Samsung Galaxy Tab for the same price.
Problem solved.

Am I the only one who really thinks the Mac Pro is actually pretty interesting? I am not a Mac fanboy, I hate Mac/Apple with all my might, but I think this is actually interesting.

you could stuff down the top of it and then the high speed fan would cut it up into a fine powder for easy disposal

In all seriousness, it's 9" on 6". That's about as much as half of an small ITX case.
Despite that, key features:
1 Terabyte/s HDD.
12 GB VRAM total dual-GPU with 7 teraflops / GPU.
40 GB/s CPU. Not so excited about the 12 cores part.
60 GB/s RAM on 1866MHz.

and its allllll propiatary and is designed to fail

I guess you have a point.
But Mac might finally release something actually interesting anyway.

okay, im picking out a new gpu.

Thoughts? I'm looking for durability and performance under $400.

7950 with overclock and ASUS cooler

sameish performance (i find it runs anything perfect even on my triple monitors /brag) for 3/4 the price

that, what you picked, is 100% the right choice

No I definitely agree with leetzero, it's the first original desktop design apple has ever come up with. It's not that bad, but that's because we don't know the price of it yet. Honestly, it's going to be crazy crazy crazy expensive. Apple is going to ram this "original" shtick straight into the ground. I would not be surprised at all if the final cost is five times the component cost (keeping in mind that a single workstation card can be thousands of dollars)

everything shares one heatsink

everything shares one fan

A fan in the center that pulls stuff out of the tube. That could actually be really good airflow.

1 Terabyte/s HDD. i did not see a hdd must have missed it
12 GB VRAM total dual-GPU with 7 teraflops / GPU. just because theres 2 does not mean the total vram increases only th gpu power the total vram is the same
40 GB/s CPU. Not so excited about the 12 cores part. 12 cores is nice
60 GB/s RAM on 1866MHz. you will only notice that diffrence if you are doing video or is it photo rendering
