mine didn't but the sata cables came with the motherboard
Alright, the sata cable is pretty much all I need. Everything else just goes straight into the motherboard.

This is the mobo, I don't think it comes with the cable.
Also looking at the reviews I'm a bit skeptical.. along with a ton of newegg stuff.

I went straight to the asus site for it, it comes with cables but they are only 3gb/s, the drive is a 6gb/s. Will it still work?

Looking over stuff I"m beginning to wonder if this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1171046) is even worth messing with.

I have a Dell latitude d600

WHAT!

(lold at 219 windows users to 17 mac users)

Is it true than when you order a CPU the heatsink is already on the CPU with the thermal paste already applied?

For intel the paste is applied, but you put the heatsink on yourself. It's not hard.

I'm getting a AMD CPU, shouldn't it be the same?

It may be different. No idea.

Er, I sure hope it comes with thermal paste on it.
Another person told me that the heatsink is already on it, paste on all. But I'm not sure entirely.
Can't take any risk, I have to get this right on the first try.
Also I worry that parts might be broken on delivery, how well is Neweggs delivery packaging?

I've never had a problem with it. Although if you live in a bad neighborhood, keep an eye out for the package; newegg boxes scream "Steal me!"

I live in the woods so I have no issue there. Unless a random raccoon, deer, or other various animal shows up.
Or my neighbor..
Our homes aren't numbered so almost anyone can sign for it and steal it. I'll have to be outside as soon as it gets here so I can be like "Thats my package"

Also yes, I did some research. They come with paste.
On a other note: God damn PC, ran out of RAM and BSOD'd on me :c
Just have to make this thing last until late September/early October.

i have a Dell Precision m6300 and this keeps happening, apparently, while Source games are running (but it might just happen at any time):

second image follows first image after a black screen
some programs don't work properly afterwards - Chrome won't redisplay pages until i restart Windows Explorer
also, it doesn't happen too often

why?
