I have been given a solution. If you open the volume mixer, you have to turn up the volumes to their highest, then turn the headset volume knob down.

This was the advice from Turtle Beach Support. I hope it helps like it helped me.

oh forget why didn't I think of this, I really appreciate you sharing to help me out, thanks man

I respect you coming to me in this way rather than what most people do, I really do appreciate it.  I'll do better to not let my hot head get in the way anymore.
I'm glad you feel this way

friend needs help on building a PC but /r/buildapc usually ignores him so i thought you guys would respond

here's the link

ahhh...I've decided I do not like my case. The mobo is horizontal, and there's no where for the cables to go. One of the cables slipped down a bit and stopped the CPU fan from spinning...Cue panicking and turning off my computer.

I'm thinking about getting a new case for Christmas...maybe a Fractal case. Any other suggestions? It would be nice for it to have USB 3.0, a cable management thingy and I don't want a behemoth of a case either... :x

fractals are nice. I like my case but it has doesn't have a very good backplate for routing cables. Built a rig for my friend with a phantom though, that's a seriously nice case with lights, fan controls, toolless installation, and a good routing system. Only downside is like everyone has it because it's so good

stock coolers are garbage

with an AMD FX-8120 (8 cores, stock clock 3.1 GHz) on a stock cooler, I was able to OC it to 4.7 GHz and leave it there at 100% on each core for 10 minutes

peak temperature was ~51 C

Here, take the one that I was suggested before my budget dropped.

how do you manage to create a build with a 4 core 3.5 GHz CPU and a 7790 at a ~$600+ budget

like I know this post was forever ago but still

I had help from someone else. How they did it I don't know.

I'm compiling a list of parts at the moment for a computer I may be building within the next several months. My dad's laptop he uses for work is going to die soon and he wants my laptop and he'll just buy me the parts for a new computer. I had TomTheGeek help me out a bit, but this is my first build and I need a bit of guidance on anything else I may want/need. My budget is ~$1700 USD.

What you have there is a $1200 dollar build + monitor, OS, and peripherals
For a $1200 build you don't need a $200 motherboard. You can probably afford a 770, too. The case is a bit overkill but that's up to personal preference. And lastly, I don't believe that psu supports haswell cpus, and regardless you can do a lot better for $110

thanks for helping me out with this.

i got the gigabyte z87x-ud4h along with the i7 4770k, and had enough money left to buy a hydro series h60 cooler

i need to cut down on "wake up" time

I picked out the Phantom simply because I want to have enough space for further expansion if needed.
