I accidentally removed internet explorer from the start menu on my windows 8 laptop. I tried to re-add it but it sends me to the desktop with internet explorer windowed and the icon on the start menu is different as well. Does anyone know how to fix it back to the way it was?

i prefer intel, has some good stuff and a bit better performance, especially in gaming as most games don't yet fully utilize the amount of cores the fx-8000 series has

Okay now this had a good start, and ended ignorantly.

The amount of cores doesn't matter, Intel also makes 8 core processors.
Saying AMD is worse because modern games don't user 8 cores proficiently is ignorant, because Intel's 8 core processors are no better used.

AMD and Intel have better CPU's in different areas, certain CPU's outperform others, Intel does not fully reign over AMD with every product in the same aspect that AMD doesn't reign over Intel with every product.

Saying Intel or AMD in general has better performance is wrong, it just is.

take a chill bro, I'm fairly sure Nal was being at least 50% sarcastic, and you and me both know there will always be Nvidia/Intel fanboys and AMD fanboys.

I do personally prefer AMD because they don't use hyperthreading, I hate the virtual cores idea, it's not favorable imo.
Pretty sure he's not, I know it's hard to believe but I'm pretty sure Nal is actually that stupid.

I do personally prefer AMD
I just prefer AMD
i prefer intel
Preferences are totally ok, but completely devolving the whole brand for no actual reason is wayyy over the line

Edit:
Saying Intel or AMD in general has better performance is wrong, it just is.
yea this

Intel also makes 8 core processors.
yeah, and they cost around 2000 dollars; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117272&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Processors+-+Servers-_-N82E16819117272&gclid=CL_y-6CrtbkCFeV7QgodunsAIA

i was comparing processors aimed toward an average user as well as processors of around the same cost. i currently have an i7-4770k and i was comparing it to the closest amd counterpart - something out of the fx-8000 series (im not going to even note the fx-9370, that thing is like a box full of molten lava). i know i didn't note this, my bad.

thats for server hosting

for 50 dollars more, you get 2 more fps!!!!

That's a server processor..

and your hyperthreaded quad core is less powerful, and almost double the cost of my fx-8350

You're handicapped. First of all, what the forget are you talking about when you say government kill switch. I'd really like to see some evidence that proves that even if there were one, why it should make any difference whatsoever. Secondly, cpu and gpu boss are terrible websites. They compare on-paper specs and do a single cinebench test and then average everything and call it a definitive result. Thirdly, what you're comparing there is an 8-core AMD cpu to a 4-core Intel cpu with no hyperthreading. If you have use for an 8-core cpu you literally cannot beat the 8350 for value, and I would recommend it as such. Look at the single core performance of the two cpu's on that site. Intel wins 9.5 to 8.2, while in the multithreaded test AMD only beats Intel by 0.2 relative score even though it has twice the number of effective cores than the Intel. A large percentage of everyday programs are single-threaded, a large number of games included. Fourth and finally, anyone who completely denounces either brand as trash is instantly an idiot. Both brands have their unique disadvantages and advantages, and anybody who doesn't bother to look up the facts first and merely relies on handicapped brand loyalty can instantly be disregarded. The exact same thing can be said for people who trash nvidia over amd gpus or vice-versa.

That is the final rig (unless the MoBo sells out, only 4 left)
What do you guys think?

I literally have never heard of that Ram manufacturer

I literally have never heard of that Ram manufacturer
doesn't mean anything.

Warranty is fine, looks to be decent build quality

You never know until you read reviews, hell I have corsair value ram and it looks just like normal ram and its amazing

oho goyim that's a good one you sure know your stuff

But seriously, thanks for responding to only the first and least pressing note I pointed out in my post. What about the rest?

Me neither but I got it because it has heat spreaders and having 2 sticks of ram also helps keep heat down.

That's a server processor..
your point? you told me intel makes 8-core cpu's, and i showed you the cheapest one i found.

and your hyperthreaded quad core is less powerful, and almost double the cost of my fx-8350
lol you are so stupid
first of all you claim that amd nor intel are more powerful, now you spew out random bullstuff?

twice performance, what is this
I mean seriously, just because intel is better by two fps doesnt make it better overall. Paying 50 dollars extra for 2 more fps doesnt make it worth it, as I said before, its just opinions no need to get loving butt hurt over it.

the 8 core processors intel makes and xion are optimized for server hosting, thats what he's getting to. You're also missing out on the fact that AMD is coming out with a 9350.
