Is it unlikely that my FX 4130 would be running around 34oC during web browsing? I'm using lm_sensors on linux, and I don't know just how accurate this is. I only have one 120mm fan and the stock cooler on it, (well, there is my GPU fan, but I doubt that would really affect it), and my case's airflow is probably decent, but not great.

34 is a good temp, i dont see the problem

My temps are normally like this
but I usually keep my computer on the entire day so idc

There's no problem, I just don't  know how accurate lm_sensors is and if I should trust it or not.

I feel like my temps are sub-par. I undust it every once in a while. I once went to the parts themselves and used a compressed air can on the dustier components. I have dust filters as well, and they fill easily. What should I do to keep everything cool?

i take great offense to microcenter.

they overcharge ridiculously. and i dont trust anyone who works for commision. business practices like that just breeds straight up liars and starfishs.

^

because of Microcenter and Fry's Electronics. I have stopped buying any PC parts from store locations.

I buy only online. (Newegg)

I feel like there's something wrong with my gpu fan...

So on black friday i'm upgrading my system, thought i'd share and get any input on it.

Parts List

Case: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Matte Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
I'm getting tired of my old Antec DF-85, even tho it was superior air flow (7Fans) compared to the Phantom 630 I want something that looks nicer. And the Phantom is a beautiful case.

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I74770K
I have had my Intel Core i5-3450 Ivy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.5GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2500 for about a little more than a year, i am looking for a performance boost and I figured I would just upgrade to the next generation Intel i7's.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD3H LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
My Asus Sabertooth Z77 isn't compatible with OSX (Graphics Issue) and I need a new motherboard, I figured I would get a next generation LGA 1150 while i'm at it.

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 DUAL SuperClocked 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card 04G-P4-3774-KR
I'm going to put my GTX 670 4GB FTW+ in my moms Hackintosh and get a next generation card.

Storage: Corsair Neutron Series CSSD-N128GB3-BK 2.5" 128GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Already Owned Storage: 2x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black
1x Corsair 128GB SSD (Same as one i'm buying, one is for OSX and one for Windows)

PSU: CORSAIR HX Series HX850 850W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
Why not upgrade? I have a 700W PSU, figured I would upgrade because I have the cash.

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro - 64-bit - OEM
I like the look of Windows 8 and it has higher performance I hear (such as boot time and bug fixes). Upgrading from Windows 7.

Monitor: Asus VE228H 21.5" Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor w/Speakers ASCR 10,000,000:1
I currently have one of the Asus monitors above, a Acer 23" and a 19" HP, I would like to put 2 21" Asus monitors on each side of my Acer 23".

Already Owned: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan

Side Note: This post was a pain in the ass to d on iPhone, took me a good 30minutes.

I've had the opposite experience. They used to sell the i5-3570k for the lowest price I've ever seen, $169.99, and I bought this laptop new for $600.

why do you want to install hackintosh

why do you want to install hackintosh OSX
Because I like OS X more than I do windows, quite frankly I still hate windows.

why do you hate it
I think it's a terrible OS with all the bullstuff troubleshooting I have to do for everything, OS X is simple and easy to use and I have never actually blue screened (or on OSX I think it's "Kernel Panic") on OSX. I grew up with OSX and have grown accustom to it.

I agree with this 100%. Also do you have a windows keyboard? I recommend it for Mac.
