im kinda the opposite of you, but ok

So on black friday i'm upgrading my system, thought i'd share and get any input on it.

Parts List

Case: NZXT Phantom 630 Windowed Edition Matte Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
I'm getting tired of my old Antec DF-85, even tho it was superior air flow (7Fans) compared to the Phantom 630 I want something that looks nicer. And the Phantom is a beautiful case.

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I74770K
I have had my Intel Core i5-3450 Ivy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.5GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2500 for about a little more than a year, i am looking for a performance boost and I figured I would just upgrade to the next generation Intel i7's.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD3H LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
My Asus Sabertooth Z77 isn't compatible with OSX (Graphics Issue) and I need a new motherboard, I figured I would get a next generation LGA 1150 while i'm at it.

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 DUAL SuperClocked 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card 04G-P4-3774-KR
I'm going to put my GTX 670 4GB FTW+ in my moms Hackintosh and get a next generation card.

Storage: Corsair Neutron Series CSSD-N128GB3-BK 2.5" 128GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Already Owned Storage: 2x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black
1x Corsair 128GB SSD (Same as one i'm buying, one is for OSX and one for Windows)

PSU: CORSAIR HX Series HX850 850W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
Why not upgrade? I have a 700W PSU, figured I would upgrade because I have the cash.

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro - 64-bit - OEM
I like the look of Windows 8 and it has higher performance I hear (such as boot time and bug fixes). Upgrading from Windows 7.

Monitor: Asus VE228H 21.5" Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor w/Speakers ASCR 10,000,000:1
I currently have one of the Asus monitors above, a Acer 23" and a 19" HP, I would like to put 2 21" Asus monitors on each side of my Acer 23".

Already Owned: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan

Side Note: This post was a pain in the ass to d on iPhone, took me a good 30minutes.
Just Curious, how much will the price on these parts go down on Black Friday/Cyber-Monday?

where can a person buy a gaming prebuild without a video card?

I think it's a terrible OS with all the bullstuff troubleshooting I have to do for everything, OS X is simple and easy to use and I have never actually blue screened (or on OSX I think it's "Kernel Panic") on OSX. I grew up with OSX and have grown accustom to it.

What do you mean troubleshooting? And I've only had the BSOD after an unstable overclock.

Just some bullstuff people make up because they want to hate on windows. If you're going to play games Windows is the #1 OS by a mile.

first time i got a bsod was when i was 11 and overclocked my poor, battered 5670 to 2000mhz

You have a problem with Windows and you go to OS X to avoid that problem?

loving lmao

Are you loving stupid? I have always used OSX, I only got Windows for gaming. I'm not getting rid of windows, i'm dual booting. And i'm not dual booting because of problems with Windows, i'm doing it because I generally like OS X. So forget off.

linux
Exactly what reason would you ever want to use any Linux distro for desktop computing?

because its trendy.

its not that useful. requires full time fixing stuff and adjusting to emulate any and all pc software.
but hey. its not mainstream so its cool lol
