why when you look at graphics cards on like newegg it doesn't say how much wattage it needs from the PSU.

why.

well you won't be needing above 500w for high end video cards anyways
and a 400w should pull off some lower end ones

does GTX 770 count as high end?

I'm planning on upgrading my GPU from an NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 to a 670 and was wondering about what else I would need to upgrade along with that.
It's a prebuilt Dell XPS 8500 I got online.

About my Computer (Will post more if it is necessary)
-Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce GT 620
-PSU : 460w (already planned to upgrade it, just don't know to what extent, would like to know)
-Processor : Intel Core i7-3770 CPU (3.40GHz)
-16 GB of RAM
-2 TB Hard Drive Space
-My monitor's resolution is 1920 x 1080

I plan to play games such as PAYDAY 2, Borderlands 2, and Planetside 2 at a higher FPS than I already do (I don't care if I have to turn down the resolution as long as it's fast, around ).

would recommend upgrading to the r9 280x instead, it is cheaper while the performance is much greater

i found the solution to his problem by clicking the first link when i typed it "TBVerifier.dll problem"

is it seriously so hard
Wtf? My google search came up with nothing. ;-;

Would it require any extra components for either card? A new fan, cooling? I don't have intentions of overclocking or anything, I'm not a wiz with computers.

no, all graphic cards come with fans/heatsink already installed. you might want a higher power supply unit just in case though

Thank you so much!

Ready go with this new build. I might not even get the PSU since I already have a quality 500W. What do you guys think?

Is there any point of upgradeing to R9 270X.

Not sure about the 270X, but isn't the R9 270 just a re-branded HD 7850?

yes, pretty much
but all of the nvidia line besides the 780's are just rebranded cards too
