What do you mean "max settings"?
If you mean clock/memory speed, then yes you could push it to the maximum option available in afterburner, but there's no guarantee that it would be stable (usable) if you did. If you mean max settings in a game, then it depends on a whole lot more

Edit: Looked at the card, what the forget. I hope you aren't planning on buying that

Windows 8.1.
yeah i'll do that once i install it; i'm coming from vista

I guess I'll repost my old laptop's specs here

Hi guys.

I am currently using dual extended monitors and am considering getting a 3rd. Is this worth my money or just a waste of it in terms of the overall experience by using two monitors in comparison with three?

I already bought it a year ago because everyone recommended it.

I dunno, how much do you have and what other stuff were you planning on buying?

i use 3 monitors, not the usual gayman stuffter setup though, i use two next to eachother and have another one off the the side, they're pretty useful, though i can find monitors for free.

Money isn't an issue. Just wondering if I should go ahead and get another one.

You should get a third monitor if you
A) Feel yourself constantly wishing you had another window to work on stuff with
B) Feel like gaming at 5760x1080

I use two 1080p monitors at the moment, if I get a third monitor it would probably be because of B and not A

yes but even an i3 is remarkably faster than a phenom

Yes but like I said to you earlier, I am encoding videos and require the i7's hyperthreading.

I already have had the card for about a year. I can OC it with MSI afterburner to

Core voltage (mv): 1300
Power limit +20
Core clock (MHZ): 1200
Memory click (Mhz) 1575

its default settings are:

Core voltage (mv): 1125
Power limit +0
Core clock (MHZ): 1000
Memory click (Mhz) 1250

Will my GPU be able to handle the OC or will it rape the GPU and make it unstable?

Each GPU is different in terms of stability after overclocking. Run a stress test after overclocking to be sure it's stable.

Okay. Should I use AMD overdrive or MSI afterburner.

I'm having trouble picking which site to buy my Gaming PC, Cyberpower Or Ibuypower?
