I am going to tell you a story.
A story about love, and war.
Once upon a time, I think like 3 months ago, I have posted some screenshots about my PC going completely apestuff ever since the BIOS.
The gallery shalt be found in this page http://1drv.ms/1rz3zxq
Albeit from that date, the same thing happened 3 times thus far, with 4th yesterday to today.
Yesterday, while playing Blockland and doing other things, SHABAM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTmhtHCbsvU
Last times it simply got fixed by itself by leaving the PC off unplugged overnight (???). That did not fix it today, though.
No, today was different.
Today it has simply refused me to get into the log-in screen.
Boot was fine, then shabam, artifacts all over the place on the log-in screen.
What's the logical thing to do? Well go to safe mode, and remove the drivers of course. And that's what I did, and it was fine. And then I installed them again. And again, I had gotten the problems.
And so, I spent about 1 hour tinkering, cleaning and twisting the forget out of the 2x6 Pin connectors to my GPU hoping for a shining light, but to no avail.
And then, a sparkling idea of going to the Integrated GPU was brought into my head! What a brilliant idea! I could at least go and browse my casual, friendly, innocent and domestic websites that we're all accommodated with! And maybe play some Minesweeper.
And so I did, I simply plugged the VGA cord next to the DVI one. (VGA connected to Integrated GPU, DVI connected to Dedicated GPU) since the Dedicated worked during Boot and BIOS. Thus I went into the BIOS configuration and switched the North Bridge to shall start with the Integrated GPU.
Switched my monitor to the VGA and I restarted. It obviously worked as far the boot goes, as I was on the Integrated GPU which should have not have any issues at all! But... During the login screen, something mystical, something magical and stupid happened.
The log-in screen was black during the VGA setting. I switched the connection on the monitor again to the DVI, which is my Dedicated, and it works up to this point of me posting this with no artifacts, despite in BIOS the Integrated being set as the main GPU.

Can someone please tell me what in the forget happened?

Completely remove your dedicated GPU from your case and unplug it completely, then try with your motherboard video output again

So i'm starting to get extremely pissed the forget off. For some reason in the middle of ArmA II/III my GTX 670 4GB (Using EVGA Precision X) will randomly de-clock to something like 700MHz and my game will become unplayable at like 10FPS. I have had this problem for a long time and i'm extremely loving pissed right now.

can anybody give me a quick estimate of how much it would cost to build a computer that could run battlefield 4 on high settings at 720p and 60fps

I think something around 800 would be realistic

my psu is making a really high pitched ringing sound, my temps are fine and it just does it for a few minutes and then stops, any ideas?
oh well, i think its dying. What psu can I get for like $50 (needs to be 600w)
plz

Eh, I personally I wouldn't get that PSU; even though voltage control and ripple suppression is OK, it uses really cheap capacitors which detorierate really quickly. The Seasonic S12II 520 Bronze is $5 less, uses higher quality parts and comes with a five year warranty. The wattage is a little lower, bu you're not going to need the extra power unless you have something like an OC'd 4770K and a 780ti or something.

You can get pretty much there for 1080p with ~$650

its coil whine

your power supply isnt dying
I've had that power supply for years, so.

Did you install the drivers yet? Try booting the computer with the graphics card completely removed
Oh, no I haven't. Can I still install my drivers without an OS?

I don't think so. Try plugging the monitor directly into the motherboard, and see if you can get it to work.

is it better to install a wireless adapter or use a USB?
