Will a 750W PSU be enough to power 2 GTX 770's in SLI?

what are you using it for?
Gaming, schoolwork, etc. Pretty much everything. My Lenovo Y50 just died again and Lenovo is refunding me all $1700 plus 25% since is is the second time the laptop broke so I have over 2 grand in spending money for a laptop now.

Is dual 770s better than say a single 880?

Looking for a new laptop within the $1000-$1500 range
so what exactly happened to the other laptop? dead?

If the game you're playing supports SLI then yes. If not, then no.

The first one I bought back in July had bad wires connecting to the screen and I sent it out for repairs. It was on hold in their repair depot for a month and a half before I finally called and demanded they send me a new one. They sent me a new laptop as requested.
Over the past three weeks I've been enjoying it thoroughly, playing on blockland with ultra shaders, Unturned on max settings, playing age of empire III, doing school work, etc without a problem. Fast forward to two days ago, I woke up and tried to start up my laptop to work on an excel doc for school and all that happened was the fans and LEDs would turn on then three seconds later the computer would turn off. Not turning on at all. So I called Lenovo today and requested a full refund for the computer and they agreed to give me a full refund plus 25% of what I paid for it.
All in all this has been three months of hell and I'm never buying a lenovo product again. I did so much research on the computer and was positive it was reliable considering it's one of the top gaming laptops of 2014, but nope. I ended up with two laptops that crapped out on me within weeks.

My computer just randomly shut off
this is weird

what the forget?

Update:

turns out my stuffty cpu cooler was donefor, thank god I had a spare though, replaced it and now I'm using the stock cooler
its not too shabby :D
I stayed up until 2 doing this, I'm done now

Heh. My computer restarted twice while playing Blockland last night.

I guess it's time to tone down the GPU overclock a bit... :c

I'm looking to get a new CPU cooler, what can I get for an am3+ board for $30? I had the 212 evo and it loving sucked

I think you might have gotten a faulty one or something

I have the Hyper 212 Evo with dual fans on it and an I5-3570k overclocked to 4.2ghz and my cpu never gets over 46 Celsius , its a good after-market cooler,

my cpu idles at around 35-36 Celsius, and gets no hotter than 45-46 Celsius when gaming
motherboard idles at around 29-31 Celsius, and gets no hotter than 35-36 Celsius when gaming

it also depends on the amount and quality of the fans in your case along with if you have them properly set up so that they pull or push air in the right direction

also having nice thermal paste will certainly help and i'll gladly recommend you some if you wish

The fan on it just won't move anymore, I don't think applying wd40 would help
It literally was just my cooler giving out and the fan hardly moved, that's why it got that hot

Also 80c isn't that bad, its just overheating. My GPU gets that hot for gpuboost
How would this be? http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=35-200-071

You do know you can swap out fans on the 212 with pretty much any other fan of the same size, 120mm I believe. I swapped out the one that came with it with two higher rpm blue LED fans

It'd be much cheaper to swap out the fan on the 212 with a much higher quality one than to replace it with another 212 or aftermarket cooler entirely

BUY NICE THERMAL PASTE

I have separate thermal paste that I blew money on
The thing hardly fit on the loving motherboard and always shook it, that's why I want a new one. The entire thing was dying. Maybe its because amazon blows

Uh. Amazon is a retailer, they don't actually produce the coolers. I think you simply bought a bad one or did not properly install it
Shook the motherboard?  What?

fulfillment by amazon :v and where should I get a new fan
I'm gonna search on newegg when I get home
I'll just make the  assumption that the fan was causing all the shaking bullstuff.
